Accredited acupuncturist, Naturopath and Bowen therapist Andrash Bodonyi, comes from a scientific background of Mathematics and computer science. He has been in clinical practice for more than 10 years. He has also published two health related books and for many years has lectured in Acupuncture and Physiology.
His scientific background involved analytical thinking and problem solving and both are essential components he uses in his clinical work. Andrash values and uses modern technology alongside the intuitive wisdom of ancient healing arts. His clinical methods are either scientifically validated, or validated by thousands of years of healing practices.
He combines traditional Chinese Acupuncture with state-of-the-art Microcurrent therapy. He also uses the ancient art of pulse and tongue diagnosis with digital iris diagnosis. His prescriptions of the latest nutritional compounds are often complemented by breathing and meditative exercises.
His major areas of professional interest are Natural Pain Management and Women’s Health with special focus on fertility support. His work is unique, because it involves the integration of the most effective individual methods into one treatment protocol.
Andrash joined the Reach for Health team early in 2006. He developed and now co-ordinates the PainAway, Men’s Health, and Fertility Support programs. He is the author and designer of the Zen-Gym exercise program, and runs regular courses in the Centre.
Apart from his clinical and academic work, his passions are meditation and kite boarding.
